Denver, CO (February 19, 2016) — Unique Properties, Inc. is proud to announce that Lawrence Argent, well-renowned artist, recipient of numerous fellowships and Professor of Art, has purchased a studio in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe located at 900 North Santa Fe for $885,000. Greg Knott and Zach Smith of Unique Properties / TCN Worldwide were the transaction brokers for this transaction.
The Property, a 6,230 square foot office / retail building was built in 1953 and has been utilized as studio and gallery space for the last twelve years. Lawrence Argent will use the space as his studio and is currently waiting on a city permit before his move in.
“The Art District on Santa Fe is a local and national standout,” Knott said. “Over the last decade, the community has grown from 17 galleries, museums and theaters to roughly 100 creative industry members. Denver creatives are planted all around the city, though the Art District on Santa Fe continues to raise the bar for an artistic community with a high level of physical density, cultural assets and tourist appeal. Lawrence’s studio will be an asset to this growing community,” he concluded.
Lawrence Argent has exhibited nationally and internationally and is currently working on many public art projects around the country. Locally, one of Argent’s most highly recognized piece is the Big Blue Bear situated outside of the Performing Arts Center.
“I am very excited about where this studio space is situated,” stated Mr. Argent. “The Art District on Santa Fe has grown exponentially and I am happy to have a studio in the midst of it all,” he concluded.
