UAG represented the undisclosed buyer in this transaction. The undisclosed seller who had plans to retire property ownership sold the property for $405,000 or $36,818 per unit.
Constructed in 1964, the building has value-add potential. The property is located right by Interstate 25 and only minutes from a shopping center with a 24 hour fitness, grocery store and restaurants. The buyer plans to do light renovations to the units and the exterior to raise rents to market rates.
The Colorado Springs market has continued its steady growth in sales activity, sale price, rental rates and occupancy. “This property was another opportunity for Denver investors looking to Colorado Springs for stronger returns,” stated broker Michael Krebsbach.
