Aurora, CO (February 10, 2016) — Unique Properties, Inc. is proud to announce the sale of Smoky Hill Plaza for $3,830,000. The retail center is located at 16601-16695 East Smoky Hill Road in Aurora; east of Cherry Creek State Park and directly across from Smoky Hill High School. Gannon Roth of Unique Properties was the transaction broker for this retail transaction. The Property generated high interest from qualified buyers and closed on January 7, 2016.

Built in 1986, Smoky Hill Plaza has consistently maintained long-term leases from large, nationally recognized tenants including 7-Eleven and Dunkin’ Donuts. In addition to these large tenants, the 35,284 square foot Center has also sustained numerous, locally established tenants who have held their tenancy between 15-20 years. The Center presented some existing physical challenges which were contributory in attracting the Buyer; an owner with extensive experience in acquiring and rehabbing retail properties with upside potential.

At time of sale, the property had one vacant unit. The new owner is confident that the Center will attain 100% occupancy after their planned property improvements and rehabilitation are complete.
